Hope im not too late. If you are setting up a new tank for it you could use a sponge filter.
Im getting a dumbo halfmoon soon never owned one before. For halfmoons from what i know having a filter can be dangerous in a sense that they might nip their fins/tail if they feel the suction is very strong to make their movements easier. For dumbo halfmoon, now they have that big ear(fin) as well. So never owning one before, wondering should i use my filter? Currently my bettas have filters in their tank n i like the filter's work it keeps the tank rly clean n healthy environment, so i hope i can still use it somehow to keep this new dumbo hm in a healthy clean environment too.
Any suggestions on how to go around this issue with the filter?
