    So how do i get rid of brush algea in my tank? My tanks bout 6-7 years old and the brush algea only appeared last year! I've tried cuttin the leaves that have them but they grew back along with the brush algea again! What should i do?

    This is an easy one. Usually, people will ask you to check CO2 and CO2 circulation. Just cut off all the affected leaves and make sure CO2 is good, then BBA will not bother you again

    Does the substrate have anything to do with the brush algea?

    it might, it might not... We can't help if you don't provide the stats
    I replied in your other thread, show us the KH, pH, NO3 and PO4 readings. Go grab the test kits if you need.
