    Replacing the tempered glass isnt going to be cheap and easy. Tempered glass once treated cannot be cut. Many glass merchants do not carry stock due to this limitation. So my dimensions have to be exact. Have to factor in some room for expansion. Afterwards crack again, waste money and time.

    Cannot use normal glass as it will surely crack within minutes from the heat generated by the lamps.

    you should write in to atman, distributor and main office, if your item is under the warranty period (or within one year as is normal from date of purchase), its is not unreasonable that this is solely manufacturer defect.

    you should bring it to their attention that you will seek the attention of PSB (or is it spring singapore now)...regarding safety testing of the device, unless suitable compensation is made/ideally replace whole unit.

    I'm sure one can even sue.
