    hi all,
    my 1 ft cube has 1 oto, 2 hillstream loaches, 10 boraras and 20-30 cherries shrimps... how heavy a bioload can i go?
    coz the shrimps are breeding like mad.
    so shrimps population is kinda growing...

    I think that will depend on your flora load also.
    Usually more plants means more fish.

    But I have never done a nano tank, so I am not sure if the theory holds true.

    IMHO the shrimps population shouldn't overload your filter as long as you keep the tank in good condition. Of course, if your shrimps are practically covering every inch of the substrate and reminds you of Orchard Road in Singapore on weekends then you better start selling some shrimp.

    at the rate the cherries are reproducing, think i'll get that orchard road within a few months....
