    Urgent! HELP!!! Timer problem

    Hi all

    Can anyone teach me how to use this timer? Can't seem to get it to work. everytime i on the power supply, the lights, co2, fan are on regardless of the timing i set. Dun know if i used the timer correctly.

    Dewd....you have to flick the little switch on the side of your timer to the "timer mode". if you left that switch on the "ON" mode..it wont switch of your devices. take a closer look i'm sure you can see some pictures or something.

    Notice a little switch by the side? Its a bypass switch.
    Pull up all the tabs (Off) and test the bypass switch, it should not turn on your stuff. Else its a goner, go grab a new one.
    Push down=On

    So if i push it towards the I icon, its suppose to turn everything off and operate in the timer mode right? And when i turn the switch towards the clock icon, exposing the I icon, its suppose to bypass the timer and "ON" everything?

    Problem i experiencing now is no matter i switch the switch up or down, the lights and stuffs are still on! Spoilt?

    Thats why I said, pull up every tab and try.... if it still turns on your stuff, its faulty

    PULL UP????? dont you mean push down?? with all the tabs pulled up it will turn everything on. with the tabs pushed down...then it will switch off...

    I am quite sure pull up is "Off" for all 4 different brand of timers used for my tank

    for my experience, pull up will disable the timer function(in short the lights will on) but if pull down the timer will activated( as for if the light will be still on/off depends on the settings u have preset)

    Yup...finally got it to work after i took the whole thing apart. The contacts for the switch is not working properly. Pull up will OFF the timer and pull down showing the clock icon will ON the timer. Thanks guys!
