Feeding carrot/pea to guppy

Hi all, i'm looking for some advise.
i read online that we should feed guppy vegetables on occasion.
i got some frozen mix vegetables in the freezer that seems perfect
I'm wondering do we just pop in the pieces after cooking?
or do we need to mash it for the guppys' tiny mouths?
are they able to bite chunks off the vegetabless, coz the guppys seem reallyyyyy tiny
but if i mash the veges then its quite difficult to clear away all the vege crumbs after they are done

The normal commercially available fish flakes from lfs should be quite balanced with roughage and plant materials to cater to guppy diet on a staple basis. Feeding boiled carrot and veggie may foul up the water much quicker unless you are religiously removing uneaten food and doing partial water changes. In farms guppy are fed boiled egg yolks regularly but in a home set up we cannot be doing this without the water getting dirty and in turn affect the guppy health.

Feed your guppy a variety of commercially prepared food (flakes, pellets...etc) and occasionally live food would keep your guppy happy and healthy
