I'm currently using 2 Chihiros A series 3ft led lights, growing hair grass and HC.
So far the hair grass are sprouting runner and the HC are growing too.
Hi,
Need some help to choose between LED lights that i have narrowed down to.
1) Chihiros A series A601
2) Oddysea/Beamswork Hi lumen 60
Would be great if you could help me compare the 2, i was not able to find much info on the Beamswork thus having a hard time to choose, also noted tht it come in multi colour, blue/white and white sets.
Will be using it on a 60cm x 30cm x 35cm tank. intend to grow carpeting plants with CO2 injection
Any input will be greatly appreciated

Ludwigia glandulosa / Eleocharis acicularis 'Mini' / Rotala wallichii / Cyperus Rotundus / Rotala Sp. Sunset / Rotala Sp. Green
Cardinal Tetra / Rummynose Sp. Platinium / L183 Stralight Bristlenose Pelco / Nirate Snail / Yamato Shrimps
2 units of A901. HC and HG both growing.
Co2 at 0.5BPS. Tank depth is 45cm.
Light duration is 8hr per day and light intensity is 3 clicks from the highest setting.

My advice is go for odyssey 48w model or Green Element 48w model which is effectively the same. You can't go wrong with this, but it cost quite a bit more.
Some of the plants there is growing from the chihiros a series

I would recommend getting the Beamswork because it is very bright. Im using a Green Element and Beams work and I must say it's working well on my plants.

I got it 2nd hand for $50
I think East Ocean and C328 should have it..
CO2 is about 2 to 3 bps
Green Element have 2 types, if your tank is deep, go for the one with EVO Led at 3watt per LED and total wattage of 48W for better light penetration.
just came back from seaview... no stock... sianzz...

Anyone using this :http://www.eastoceansg.com/aquarium-...rder-1470.html (2 or 3 feet) and ha e comments / feedback to share? Looks cool!
Note that a useful feature of the Chihiros A-Series is its inline 7-step dimmer module, so you can adjust the light intensity to match your tank requirements. This helps alot when it comes to fine tuning the conditions for optimal plant growth.
