Nobody here used them before?
Anyone here have any reviews on this? I don't see much information on Twinstar products.
The design of the set looks sleek. But what I want to find out is the perfomance of the lights in terms of plant growth.
It would be great if those who are using this set can give us their opinions please.

I'm also wondering about this light. saw it at East Ocean, very bright and sleek looking.
I'm looking at the S Series 90cm.
I just bought the 900SP (hanging type) yesterday without doing much research as I had to replace my existing light quickly as it wasn't working so don't know how it effects plant growth yet. The box didn't come with a manual or product info and the website has very limited info.
There is some product info on the bottom of the box:
Out of the box thought, it looks sleek, the light is really bright and really brings out the colour of the fish and plants.

•This youtube compares the quality of the lights very nicely--for the 600S (at 2:46) but doesn't touch on effect on plants
That's all I got at this point!

I've the same lights~!... only slight diff is mine's the 900S.
Personally I find it very bright, and it's fascinating to see the panel emitting different light spectrum (color) from reflection. I'm currently doing dry start so can't really tell how good or bad the lights it, but aesthetically it's perfect :P
Yes, it is!
Does your power connector (the box-looking thing attached on the plug get very hot while it's on?

Hmm.. that worries me too, or it might just be drawing a lot of juice. Hopefully the powergrid pricing liberalization next month will ease the bill a bit.
Also, the top portion of the lights is also very hot, touch it for 5 sec with hand... *ouch*... really think they should incorporate some heat dissipating fins on the Alu casing

No vents any where for the hot air to escape ?
If you've learnt, teach, if you have, give.

Mohamad Rohaizal is my name. If it's too hard, use BFG. I don't mind.
Keep us posted on results with the plants. I have the older version and works well especially on reds. But problem is they have no dimmer control and also stand is non adjustable.
