Hi guys, I was examining my tank and it was all well and good till I saw these weird insects settling on my duckweed!! I tried to drown them but to no avail!! Anyone with similar encounters or know what they are??

The last time I have it I threw quite a number of duckweeds away ...my tetra do eat some of the insects that sink down ...not willing to try any chemicals on it in a live tank thou

They are on my duckweed on my shrimp tank hahaha. Shrimps dont eat aphids I presume, so will follow you and throw some of the duckweed away, thanks once again!

Aphid. The adults fly so I Guess the duckweed is fair game as well

when I raise houseplants I remove sap suckers by hand immediately or else i use white oil which does not mix well with fish
