To my understanding, as long as the shrimps are not from the same genus, they will not crossbreed. Look for the list of binomial name (scientific name) for shrimps. You can easily find it from Wikipedia. For example your fire red shrimps which is a selectively breeded from red cherry shrimps have the name Neocaridina Heteropoda bar Red. Sorry if I have speaking mistake here. Any Neocaridina will cross breed with it. CRS on the other hand called Caridina C.f..... so a Caridina won't cross breed with a Neocaridina.
Chose your shrimps based on this should help you. But you will soon ask yourself how do I tell if a Caridina is not a Neocaridina? Actually, I can't tell the different between a Malayan shrimps and a Cherry shrimps. 🙄 So don't know how to select as well.
