I brought a small ventilator fan during the recent trip to Manila and use it as cooling fan for the 1ft tank. Surprisingly, it really effective to reduce the temp from 30C to 26C. The operation is very quiet.

The specification of ventilator fan as follows:
    - Voltage (V): 230
    - Frequency (Hz): 60
    - Input (W):12
    - Capacity (m3/min): 1.08
    - Size 154 x 154mm & fan size ~ 100 x 100mm
    - Price ~ S$12.80

This can be a good alternative to consider as cooling fan for the tank. Any comments?

Basically, the purpose of ventiator fan is to suck out the hot air and normally instal in toilet or small room (on the ceiling). I think Singapore has the similar kind that you may able to find in it hardware stores.

Oh, the rare old Whale, mid storm and gale. In his ocean home will be. A giant in might, where might is right. And King of the boundless sea.
