Please help a newbie: Which female betta to breed and why?

Hi guys, thinking of trying out breeding my bettas.
Wondering if this 2 CT females have similar characteristics. Need the help from veteran eyes.

Attached also my male betta that I will use for breeding.

you will need a Half-moon female and not crowntail females.

Supposedly if I want a (white) butterfly for spawn, am I right in the sense to get white HM females? Or are the patterns totally random? Thanks bro!

for colours and patterns, may need some other expert to comment already...

if you spawn a butterfly female with the male, 50 percent of the fertilised eggs will have a butterfly pattern, or 25 percent, i can't really remember, you should do some reading up on punnet squares.
