They have the same weak "die for no apparent reason" constitution as normal ottos but cost 12x-15x times more. It's a hit and miss like ottos, some last for years, others few days to weeks.
Anyone keeping them? They cost much more than the normal otos, are they effective and efficient to clean the algae?

I would say buying from reputable sources (that actually knows how to keep them alive) helps increase your chances of getting healthy ones.
