You can still try since you already bought it, but don't be sad if it does not grow underwater
At the end of the day, you would need to do your own research when visiting LFS. It's not a matter of trust because those sellers are just attendees/ staff, they aren't hobbyist. At THAT aquarium, there is this plants booklet and i use the reference number to order the plants, so as to ensure I get what I want.
