I used to get the same issue before with the glass lily inlet pipe which has no hole at the tip for easy cleaning. Hydrogen peroxide sometimes not strong enough to attack the dirt inside. So I used bleach (ratio 1 bleach: 1 water) to soak the pipe in for around 30 mins. After soaking, the bonding of dirt on inner glass pipe was much weaker and easier to be cleaned off with the flexible pipe cleaner brush.
For pipe cleaner brush itself, I find it is sometimes too hard to push all the way to the end of the inlet pipe, so I just cut the brush into half and it is easier to push-and-pull through out the pipe easily. Till it reach the end of inlet pipe, just have a twist motion together with push-and-pull to clear out the dirt.
Most importantly, we should not let the dirt accumulate until it is so dirty, it would be more difficult to clean it at that stage.![]()
