Can you cut and paste the Help Request Form over here and fill it in? Thanks.
hi i have a 2 feet planted tank and is now having problem with tonina sp belem and manau. their leaves are begining to wither at the edges and the lower part of the stem where it is inserted into the sand. i am now wondering if this could be due to the lack of one or more of the nutrients (Copper,Zinc or potassium) or is it due to lighting. i noticed that the light at the bottom of these plants are not that bright could be due to this that causes the stems at the bottom to start to wither? these plants seem to have grown a bit since i brought it back but not as fast as the others.
thanks.

Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.
Maybe u lack co2 cause my leaves wither too when i run out of itOriginally Posted by lyh

Problem: the bottom of the 2 toninas are turning yelow and the tip of it leaves are also turning yellow. wondering if it is due to insufficient fert or insufficient light at the bottom. the plant in the 3rd pic was growing fine initially. After i cut it they grew sprouts and stop at where they are now for about 2 weeks and turning black at the cut stems.
thanks for reading and sorry for the late reply.
CO2..lower the pH down to 6.6 or so using CO2 only and keep it there throughout the photoperiod. Address this issue first before even thinking about the nutrients.
Once the CO2 is fixed, you can consider doing the following:
1)Get more cheap and easy to grow plants and pack the tank with it till the current plants get back to their feet and then phase out the weeds.
2)Do weekly 50% large water changes after prunning, glass/filter cleaning and etc.
3)Add 1/4 teaspoon of KNO3 3x a week
4)Add 1-2 rice grain of KH2PO4 3x a week
5)Dose your current trace mix at 5ml or so 3x a week or consider changing it to flourish or TMG.
6)Check and recheck the CO2 every so often for the next few days and make sure it is 30ppm or so during the entire photoperiod.
Nothing works well if the CO2 is not well addressed.
