2 mths after setup. glosso foreground tossed away, putting hottonia there at the moment. will probably put in hair grass sooner or later.

lace plant and aponegeton bolivianus died due to one week no lighting (cos ran out of co2, so turned off the lighting in case of bba).

Yes. Hair Grass will look good for the foreground. Maybe more C.wendtii or B.japonica for the mid-ground and even more C.balansae for the background.

So when you replacing the Hottonia with Hair Grass?

I don't mind adopting the Hottonia if you are giving away...

I'm probably going to bunch up the hottonia together..
the balansae is a bit thin thanks to some trimming due to bba.

I've raised my lights from 1ft to 2ft above the water and this seems to have stopped bba growth.
