Is it better now? I'm hoping for the cyperus helferi to get very much thicker, and the foreground to complete.

I feel that your fat-leaved crypt needs to be shifted to the right and bring forward abit. Like the article on aquascaping you hyperlinked, 1:1.618. You lack a focal point and that crypt seems good enough to be a fine center piece. Then maybe you can spread your foreground plants to cover all the left and back area to simulate a plain, if that's what you want.

I thought the brightly lit Nana was a focal point.

I'm planning however for that crypt in the slight left middle (the one with the lone pointed leaf left) to get big again, it melted off a few weeks ago. Will that place be a good focal point?

The same crypt (in it's former glory) is in the following pic:

Wah...Squee.. good improvement la...it looks much better... i agree that it lacks a focal point..but wait for that crypt to grow in then see how loh.. Also i dont think you should move that fat-leaved crypt.. if you move it forward..it is only going to lessen the foreground space and also make the picture look too 2D...no dimension liao cos all the plants line up in one line..quite boring.. but there is a gap la between it and the nanas next to it..lol...perhaps when the plants fill in it'll be gone..

    Nice tank..

Seems like it needs time to grow in... Looks pretty good. Only gripe is being able to see all the equipment -- really takes the eye away from all your work to aquascape.
