Some find snails as pest because they reproduce fast and massive.
If the population is within your control, it shall be labelled as control crew.
If you are breeding it for puffer’s food, then it is considered as live food.
If the population is out of control, then Its up to you to label them as you want.
I find pond snails, generally those red/blue/orange ram is still manageable. Apple snail would be too huge. One of the worse is trumpet snail. They hide in substrate and are active only at night. These make them hard to catch and its easily multiplied.
You might want to check which snail you had gotten and decide whether you want to keep it.
