    This is the 2nd time i've had balansae flowering, but only have chance for a photoshoot this round.

    The C.balansae is summersed when it flowered? That means it sent out a very long flower stalk?

    yes KF, the water is about 1.5ft deep and the flower is protruding out of the water. Thin and long. In the tank below.

    Your lighting looks very yellowish . Is it because of the photo shot color or the original lighting from the tank light ? What type of lighting you are using (PL,FL,MH) and what is the total watt ? Dimension of your tank ?

    its probably due to my poor photoshop skill. Tank runs an MH of 150W, 3ft.

    i actually prefer it with the yellowish colouration... in my lowtech biotope tank..i add KTP leaves to make it all yellow and nice..just like river water..heehee
