How come? In terms of user-frienliness or...?

Can also give Aquarium Pharmeauticals a try. I'm using their range for kH, gH and pH. I'm also using their nitrate kit, but results are always vague.

    Which PH kit is good?
The one I am using from aqumedi is no good... only indicate values in 0.5s ... not accurate enough imho.

I am thinking of getting a new one

basic kits are ph and kh. you'll need this to determine co2 level correctly.
others like no3, fe and po4 are needed when you want to check the nutrient levels.

    i agree with tawauboy,

    ph and kh more important,
for me i use "NUTRAFIN ph test kit" for range (6.0-7.6)
can last for 225 tests. cost me $10. Quite good, but u must not be colourblind

just bought "tetratest kh test", cost me 9 bucks...not bad also
