Advice Required

Hi experts,

Recently I started a new tank, and it’s day 3 and I have noticed there’re a few spots of these weird stuffs growing out from my wood.

Could this be BBA? & How can I get rid of this?

It's normal. Will go away eventually.

Seems like it’s growing/spread every other day, would it be harmful to the plants?

Throw some snails/shrimp/otos when it is established.

Nope just normal white fungus not toxic.Shrimps love them and will get rid of them.

Added in 5x Amano shrimps & 3x Otos, hopefully they will be enough for the job.

Very nice looing aquarium you have there! I'm a newbie to planted tanks; do you mind if I ask, what is that grass-type plant you have growing in clumps? Do they spread outwards? Will they grow any taller, or just stay the same height? I'm looking to aquascape my new guppy tank, but am looking for plants that will still do well in lower light and without CO2 injection. Sorry for so many questions!
