Hey yo, keep around 2 per gallon. They are great for beginners and are hardy. They are a shoaling species. One can grow up to 5 cm.

Hello!
I wish to try my hands on keeping rasboras in my 50 gallons (3ft *1.5ft*1.5ft) tank.
May i know how easy-to-care-for or hardy are the below fishes in your personal opinion/experience?
List of rasboras :
1)Dwarf Rasboras
2)Boraras-Brigittae
3)Boraras merah
4)Harlequin Rasboras
5)Mosquito Rasboras
... and any other small Rasboras available in Singapore.
Additional info : I'm still in planning phase for my tank, but it will be a low tech planted tank (java moss, Christmas moss, Flame moss etc.) with inert substrate and sponge filter (powered by Eheim air pump 400). Maybe i will add some red cherries, blue colored neocaridina or small cory fishes!
