I tried CRS before without chiller and they all eventually died.I heard some people have success with keeping grade c CRS without chiller?The normal $3 a pop CRS are grade c?They seem more like A or B grade.
Between breeding vs keeping there is a big difference.
Breeding crs means providing the optimal environment.
Keeping crs means providing clean water. Eventually, they will perish at a quicker rate.
I have too kept crs without chiller. But there are no offspring neither they survive longer than 1 year.
Other than bodies, u have to look at the leg of the crs to determine its grade.

Yep i agree thanks a lot!Dang man but chillers are expensive haha.I heard a 20 gallon recommended for crs.Are pintos and bolts and also PRL much harder to keep than crs?
The better the grading of the shrimp, the more sensitive the shrimp.
Bolts/pinto/crs belongs to the bee families. But the diff between crs/prl vs bolts and pinto are crs/prl is pure line. Meaning there are no crossing of any gene at all. Whereas bolts and pinto contain tiger gene.
Crs/prl will never produce orange eye. Only with the tiger gene u will get orange. Thats why u often hear orange eye pinto/bolts but nv crs/prl

Pinto GH 0-2
For slow drip pinto will need to take longer time compared to crs (24hrs vs 2hrs)
