I've realised that once I increase my CO2 inject, my whole tank would be 'boiling' with O2 bubbles. Is this a good sign of healthy status? It does not affect the critters and pH is at 6.6pH.

I think it just mean that you have the Co2 concentrate at the right level for your tank, together with nutrients and light etc, and the plants are all pink in health photosythesizing.

Definitely a good sign Cbong. It just means that the CO2 is used up and the plants are releasing Oxygen

what I understand is that photosynthesis occurs as long as there is light and available nutrients including CO2. the reason you do not see bubbling is that the released O2 is dissolved fast enough that it does not appear as a bubble.

when conditions are very good, i.e. lots of light energy and nutrients, then rate of photosynthesis may be so high that the amount of O2 released is faster than what can be dissolved, or that the amount of O2 already dissolved in the water is already beyond equilibrium (note this is a not fixed value but varies according to water chemistry and temperature), then all these "excess" O2 appear as bubble.

Wonder what it means if only my 3 ricca balls have bubbles but not the rest of the plants. But as long as my plants are growing well and I don't have algae problem, I am pretty happy.

riccia tends to bubble very easily compared with other plants.
