Best water conditioner for shrimp tank?

Hi all,

Beginner here! Planning on starting a small shrimp tank. What are the best water conditioners for a shrimp tank?
Looking to grab a few RCS and starting a small tank with the Walstad method.

How big is your tank? RO water is best and increase GH and TDS accordingly. If you don't have RO filter then those 5L distilled water form Giant store will do. Better than dechlorinated tap water. Temperature of water is as important as water parameters when keeping RCS. They survive longer and breeds successfully in cooler waters 22-26C.

Anyway I use normal dechlorinated tap water and they still manage to breed but my tank is 250L, so water changes fluctuations have less impact. I do use a chiller set to 25C though.
