Hello all! I am fairly new to nano tanks/ freshwater shrimp. I have some cherry reds, yellows, and blue at the moment. I have a question about a specific shrimp I have. I had thought and hoped it would be my first one to have successfully bred in my tank. But the I am nor sure that the yellow substance in the attached pictured are eggs or berries. I was hoping someone on this forum could help me identify if the yellow substance underneath the pictured shrimp is in fact berries or something else. Thank you in advance for any information!

Berried Shrimp or Something Else?? Help!

Shrimp eggs won’t be protruding out like that.

It looks like green fungus. It will weaken and kill your shrimp over time... better isolate the infected shrimp before it infects the other shrimps in your tank

I do have another tank set up that I was going to use for breeding. I could move this shrimp into that tank to isolate it for a spell. Does anyone know what is the best way to treat this fungus in a planted tank?

Yeah green fungus. That shrimp will be a goner.
Lots of shrimp keepers tried different meds but to no success. Best is isolate and try some meds...but probably no cure.
