    I've seen these in our shops, mostly attached to driftwood, or sometimes rocks. It's a spiky rosette, as seen in the attachment, when emersed, but grows tall-ish into thing grassy like needles when submersed. Any ideas?

    I just found out, my last post from 10 years ago, was me trying to identify this exact plant. I grew it submersed for almost 2 years before I tore down the tank.
