How much of seachem purigen should I add into my canister filter?

Purigen® Dosing Tables

Like most Seachem® filter medias, Purigen is available in a convenient 100 mL pre-bagged packet which treats 100 gallons. There is no such thing as a "Purigen® overdose" so this packet may be used in extremely small tanks as well.


Purigen® Dose (Tsp) 1ml per gallon of water

Disappointed that some of the purigen will actually still come out of the 180 micron bag
