i just have sand, drift wood n lots of moss in a tank...put a bit of black water...with no light, filter or any other electrical equipment...and they hatched!!! it'll be good if u add air pump...

Whatever you do...start off with the cheap types first. Try malayans...they are like 20 cents a piece. (same price as 6 pieces of HACKS)

If you don't know...in the order of things to first to go in planet earth...that would be:

expensive shrimps -> inexpensive shrimps -> expensive fishes -> inexpensive fishes -> human beings.
