Hi, I brought a Dennerle Pressure-reducer (as photo) from Germany in Feb 2005 and now want to instal a solenoid. After talking to Bioplast and he said it can be done by using BioPlast CO2 Stop (so called Solenoid, as photo). The price is rather reasonable. Both are German products.

Anyone knows whether it will work or it will give problem later?

what kinds of problems are you worrying about?
i don't forsee any operational problems except from wear and tear ones. just make sure that the fittings threads match and you do not need to use brute force to make the connections.

I don't know but has a feeling they're not exactly comparable. I worry it may destroy my pressure-reducer in the process of trying to connect them together. Anyway, still waiting the stock to come from Bioplast Germany and the guy will try to fit it....not sure.

don't worry about compatibility too much. or you can consider getting dennerle solenoid.
quite a number of fellow hobbist are using taiwan regulator with german solenoid. compatibility between solenoid and regulator is just a metter of getting the correct fitting between them. there is no compatibility issues with regard to their operation.

thanks, I was actually thinking to get the Dennerle solenoid but the price is just way too high S$350++. So trying to get a alternative and Bioplast solenoid looks solid. I'll go for it and hopefully it will work. Never know.

    Hope so.
Mr. Tan of Bioplast will fix it for me when solenoid comes in. He is very experience, believe he knows what he is doing. Also, to note he does top-up of CO2 cylinder on the spot. Fast & Good. Highly recommended.
