Found a few of these tubes attached to the live rock. What are they? Should be removed? Thanks. 990DA04A-E522-4F04-8653-6665759A8388.jpeg
Just went in on the impulse. Conditioned the water to 27ppt with Red Sea Salt and added 3 live rocks and a hanging filter…. Dunno what to add next… maybe a AOL chiller from Shopee.DC6358F2-D274-46C0-9537-75B562D27CB9.jpeg

Saw a lice like creature zooming around the rocks and the sand. Any idea what it could be and whether it is of a major concern?
Ok googled a bit. I think the above are tube worms and amphipods. I have been cycling the tank for 3 weeks already with live rocks which resulted in these first inhabitants. Waiting for the cheap AOL chiller to be delivered before I buy anything. Now the temperature is 31 degrees. Too warm I think for any corals. Evaporation is high need to top up 1 x 1.5L distilled water every 1-2 weeks to maintain water level so need to daily top up a bit to prevent salinity from fluctuating too much…
Chiller and tray arrived, current set up stabilised as such:

Added coral frags into the tank finally… now thinking what clean up crew to add….
