Plan for my 5th tank and this time to be placed in my office - air-con place and constantly set the temp at ~ 17C (it shown on the remote controller).

Is this okay for 1ft cube tank and whether it's too cold?

Plan to keep mosses, various shrimps and (branchy driftwood or Rocks)? less maintanance, I guess?

Anyone keep this 1ft cube tank with similar set-up and your opinion will be appreciated.

Did you check the thread on low tech tanks?
Some of the setups there are in air-con office.

Lower temperature will be better for your mosses. If there's light and internal filter, I think the temperature will be higher than 17C. In the weekends, if air-con is off, temperature will rise also.

Thanks. It's a good thread discussion on low-tech tank. Very useful and answered all my doubts and concerns.
