Yo. AQ Booth not enough planted tanks. Five planted tanks would be nice. This will go to show that AQ supremacy in the planted arena of Singapore.

Anyway, looking forward to AQ tee...

Space constraints. Money constraints. AQ is non profit and non commercial. Funding is always a problem. Don't forget, we are one of the few local sites that is advertisement free too. If it was not for the generosity of Green Chapter this time, there will be no AQ booth at all.

But.....the next time, there may be more plant tanks. If the planted tank competition takes off that is.

how would they do a planted tank competition??? set up the tank on the spot? maybe that's why they cancel it?

joes, if there would be a competition, tanks will be setup a few days before the show starts, judging is done 1 day before the actual opening day.

There are many factors and reasons to why they didn't have the competition this year, but we will be talking to them for the another show

Actually, not necessary. There have been times Singapore tanks have appeared in ADA and AGA competitions and no one knows who these people are. There are a number of talents that do not actively participate in the forums or post pictures of their tanks.

i feel those setup instant one is kind of actificial, getting ready plant and just put them together- it's like buying different ikea furniture and assemble that's it.

A real Planted tank takes time to mantain and mature.

BTW the contest sponsor the plant or the entries them self have to folk out money to buy???
