Look who followed me home from the expo.

Ok ok, rather who got packed & transported back to my aquarium from this year's exhibition. hehe

    Courtesy of Peru's Stingray Aquarium.

    Stripey is L204.
Not too sure Pokey dotty is called though, anyone?

Apologies for the not so great quality pics.

    Brother Cacatuoides,

Early bird gets the fish. heh
Plus, I learnt if you want to get something no harm opening mouth & asking, to try my luck.

They also mentioned that one guy came before me, & offered to buy the whole lot, but they were still deciding.
So, lucky for me they reserved 1 L204 for me.

On Saturday, most of the plecos & all the cories they brought with them GONE!
I wanted to get a pair of Corydoras sp. "naranja" from them, but not fast enough. In Singapore slang, my "hand leg not fast enough." haha

I was beaten by some kids who said "so cute so cute, mummy, daddy, can I have some?" according to them.
Also missed out on the pencil fish.
    All wild caught.

But did managed to get some tetra, I think they are Hyphessobrycon sp. "metae".

As they were packing them for me, someone also bought the stingray they brought along. OF cos that one cost much more.

    Congrats on your lucky find!

I'm slower, but the slowest also get some goodies! Not lifestock, but equipment. During closing time, everything was "lelong" and I got books, tanks, gravel, etc etc.

    Cheers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?

Well...compared to what others will pay.... I would say that it's a smaller hole than most. That's a fine piece of German aquatic engineering marvel that you lugged home!

    Haha.

    Thanks thanks.

But main thing is "it's money well spent" right.
Well, I guess that would be according to us anyway. heh

Maybe that's why they hold it every 2 years, so that you have time to patch back the big hole.

No wonder can't find anything when I was there on Satursday's afternoon. Are your L204 (Flash Pleco) from Tropical Fish Int'l. I got 3 from them at their farm recently, very nice!

Thanks again akoh for the ID.
" good harvest " ? Don't tell me u bought that huge pleco on display at the Qianhu booth?

Star-flog, I actually got them from Stingray Aquarium.
Just wondering, how much did they set u back at Tropical Fish Int'l?
But they sure are nice fishies.

One of the Taiwan booth was also allowing people who enquired about their freeze dry products to have some bags for free, don't know if they were samples but the bags were quite big.
It was the booth beside the one with Vivariums set-ups.
There were dried worms, shrimps, etc in there, so should be meant for bigger fish me thinks.
Looked pretty much like some herbs you can see in the nextdoor food expo.
Wonder what would happen if you take one of them & drop them in the pile there. hehe
