why not go for high-pressure CO2 tubes? they can withstand the pressure n of good quality...
I used to use normal air tubing for running C02 to my diffusor. However the tube often turned a ugly pasty white.
Is there any high grade air tubing in the market that will stay nicely transparent? I've only saw a pack of nicely packaged air tubing in a silver box at Polyart Aquarium.

Yeah, agree with cacatuoides. They also comes in black color too.
If you've learnt, teach, if you have, give.

Mohamad Rohaizal is my name. If it's too hard, use BFG. I don't mind.
I use the Ocean Free transparent high pressure one. So far so good. I preferred this to the black one as I can see the condition of the tube and also how far does the water go back when the CO2 is off.
You've got a point there.
The black ones aren't cheap as well.
Cheers,
Andrew
But the black ones are rigid, not flexible enough for me![]()
Ruff, where did you get it? Is it commonly available?
Terence
The Ocean Free one is also not very flexible. I suppose all the high pressure (high density?) ones are quite rigid.
I bought it from Qian Hu directly. So far don't see any LFS carrying them. Probably because it is not cheap also. If my memory is correct, I paid about $5 for 1m or 2m.
I suppose you can ask LFS to order from Qian Hu for you.
I have been using it for 6 mths and it is still in perfect condition. I had once tried the normal air tub - it turned white in about 1 to 2 weeks' time.
Hmm... it sounds like it's the normal black C02 tubing. I have that, but it's too damn rigid.
I've seen a green airline tube around, it has a rubberised feel to it. Any comments on that from anybody?
