Pink? Of all colors they chose pink. I wonder what fish will escape this cruel treatment.

This video caused quite a lot of unhappiness on another forum.

I post this video to update you on the mad science that has entered fish-keeping.

Forgive me if this offending video upsets you.

Mod, please delete this video if it is not acceptable.

Re: Dyed and injected fish again!

hmm maybe its just the original colour of the fish? cause as quoted by the fellow fishkeeper "This batch of panda arowana is super unique.when i see it close up the eyes is albino.....new type,we call it Panda Albino". so maybe its the original colour of the fish just that it is albino? as we have albino stingrays with yellow/white base(black diamond rays) maybe this is the original colour? its the dyed mollies with numbers or patterns on them that is disgusting..

hey ron welcome to the forum... you finally came in here! yea dunno origin of the fish but lets cross our fingers and hope that the asian arowanas are just albino and not dyed... cant stand to see any fishes get dyed for the sake of letting people make a profit...

That's just about the only issue with these xanthic arowana. I still prefer the original greenish arowana.

Re: Dyed and injected fish again!

I remember seeing a green aro once at the zoo. Since then I liked the green more than the other color forms. Farmers spend so much time trying to perfect the scale pattern, color and finnage, that they forget the original form can also be the most beautiful, if not one of the nicest of the forms.
