    Hi,
Anyone who visited the Aquarama 2005 and should have also noticed that the East Ocean 2 x cube tank. Interested to know whether the foreground plant is:Hemianthus Callitrichoides ? (see photo). I think is very nice especially so they're use black ADA aquasoil...

If so, is this plant easily available in Singapore, expensive or not and easy to plant? Thanks.

it's not new... just a bit forgotten... we call it Elatine triandra aka Ah Pek plant (cos it was first sold by the Ah Pek at Lorong Halus a long time ago). Grows like glosso but is more nutrient and light hungry. Also messier.

Oh, the rare old Whale, mid storm and gale. In his ocean home will be. A giant in might, where might is right. And King of the boundless sea.

This year it's really geared towards the trade, not the general public. That's probably why they imposed a 'high' entry fee.

Yea I agree, I was bored. The fish show was interesting enough, but there were hardly any plants for sale, except for one booth that I found. Even then, they were selling the type you find in wet market LFSes.

    Wasn't really worth my $8.

I actually want to get TMG from there but i am quite surprised that there isn't any.

Anyway, i got two aquarium pharmaceuticals test kits for $5 each. The one with a fish doctor on the box. Quite worth it i should say. By the way, I got a deluxe pH test kit and a GH&KH test kit.

Think that i went to the same booth on Sat, as i saw no other plant seller. Asked the staff what plant they're selling and they said; "Dunno, we're only selling" real bummer.

but, at least the auntie say 'sorry'.

Thanks for the comment. The 'Ah Pek plant' = Hemianthus Callitrichoides? is still available at Lorong Halus? I saw East Ocean using wire mess to tie it down.

I read the Taiwan AquaZoo magazine stated is one of the expensive and rare plant and the nicest!

Spoken to one Taiwanese guy there during the show, he mentioned the tank dimension is 55x55x55cm.
