I personally think having 5 angels in a 2ft is already alot. And having smaller fishes together with them is like providing live feeders to these cichlids

how about if i buy smaller angels... much smaller
i believe angel fish will grow to quite a large size doesn't it. usually for planted tanks, or at least 2 ft tanks, go for tetras or rasboras. seldom can you go wrong with these combo.

Can also consider Boraras Maculatas. Max is about 1" size only.

Juggler's tanks
I've personally played with the idea of having Angels in a 2ft tank but changed my mind cos they'll grow bigger after awhile, anyway. And a 2ft tank isn't all that big for them to grow properly. I even think it's a bit on the small side, even for Cardinal and RummyNose tetras.
Go for what juggler's suggested, or something along that size. You'll also have to find out the actual species of your 2 suckermouth catfish, cos they may outgrow the 2ft tank too.
Cheers!
P-L-E-C-O-R-Y=M-A-N-I-A!!! YEAH!
FLORENCE, capital of the region of Tuscany, has a population of around half a million inhabitants, spreads on the banks of the Arno, between the Adriatic and the Tyrrhenian seas, almost in the middle of the Italian peninsula. It is a city which bustles with industry and craft, commerce and culture, art and science.
