Where do you get the 72W light set for 1ft?
Cheers,
ira-one, dun think u can find a 36w tube to fit a 1ft.. btw, y u need so much wattage?
It was out of curiosity.... I do think, however, I need 36W for my 1ft tank. Currently it has 18W and the ricia, although growing, not bubling as expected. Any advise? The tank runs with JBL liquid CO2 and it only has ricia.
Cheers,
I'm using my spare lighting for my 2ft tank....----------------

hi ira,
i have a 1 feet cube. it was an all riccia tank b4.
was using 2x11W. more than enough to get the pearling
effect. the limiting factor in ur case may be co2.
I see.... Well 2 things to try then: 1) add more light (may be my kid's 9W light), and 2) Mix yeast/sugar to add CO2. We'll see....
Thanks all.
Cheers,
ya, i agree with Mok.. try more C02 injection
DIY CO2 cannot control the amt of bubbles mah.. and isn't 72W too hot for the plants till they might just melt away?

kelvin, 72w for a 2ft will defintely heat up.. so best to provide some sort of cooling
