    some newbie question:

how r we supposedto trim those brown leaves of java fern?

DO we pluck the whole leaf out or just cut the brown part.

How do we replant t he plantlets on the leaf which has been cut?

    advise appreciated.

I cut the WHOLE leaf out. Because half cut leaves, although green, don't look very nice.

You can just gently pluck the plantlets off the leaves. If the parent leaf is still healthy, I do not cut them, but just pluck the plantlets off them in the tank.

I usually harvest the ones that have at least a few leaves about 1 to 2 inches long. Then just tie them to driftwood, rocks or plastic mesh with black twisty ties, fine fishing line or block cotton thread. If you attach suckers to the plastic meshes, you can stick them to the tank glass.
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:
A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.

Those were healthy-looking. I took this picture off the net just to show a visual example.
