Can use a cutter (gardening use type). Handle carefully or wear gloves to avoid being cut by the sharp edges of the mesh.
Hi fellow forumers, may I know what type of cutters you use for the ss mesh? I used a pair of surgical scissors and a pair of pliers. It was tedious and I got my hands cut by the tip of the mesh. In the end my surgical scissors broke into 2...paiseh..So please enlighten me on the proper equipment and technique to cut the ss mesh
. Thank you very much.

go to a hardware shop and get a proper cutter (for stainless steel). stainless steel are tough and using wrong tools for the job will cause injuries.
maybe you can mark out the dimensions and go back to the shop and borrow their cutter.

You can "do the twist...like we did last summer"....![]()
But you will need it to be of a managable size first. Just a thot.
The cut is way too sharp for safety for both you and the fish by using a plier or cutter. I got cut a few time when doing maintanence. Any one have a better method.

Usually you only need to do it once, so, like Tawauboy said, mark out the mesh and go back to the shop you bought them from to borrow their cutter.
To prevent cutting yourself and fishes that might try to burrow/dig arond or under the mesh, fold the edges over with a pair of pliers. Or, jam the edge into a narrow groove and bend the mesh by hand carefully.

Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.
you can get silicone tubings and slit down lengthwise. slip it over the sharp edges and use silicone glue to hold it in place.
you can get a small file and smoothen the sharp edges. best solution but time consuming.
