Wow, how are you going to squeeze the sofa into the tank?

Seriously, what suggestions do you want? Plant selection or rock arrangment? Is that how you're thinking to arrange the rocks at the moment? How big will the tank be? Long or tall? Etc? Maybe a picture with the rocks in the tank to give us and idea of the scale.

From this picture, I think the grouping can be tighter... move the rocks closer together but in the same ratio of distances. Might not suit the tank length though.
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:
A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.

I think the rock placement is quite there, I would suggest the main rock(ie.the one on the back) be position on a higher level...sort of on a mount...

It will help if we can see the layout in relation of the tank space, perhaps you could place them on a cardboard/paper that is cutted to size of the tank and take a shot from the top as well.

Imho, the whole thing will look different when you actually place it in the tank with gravel and a black background, I've noticed things often look different in a tank than outside of it.

Looks a little too symetrical IMHO. Try moving the rock on the right a little to the left and a little higher - like in your original design. Putting more gravel on the right would also make it look like a river bank scape.

    But then beauty is subjective...

layout looks great already, middle rock to right teeny bit.[rule of thirds]

    as suggestion...
Make layout off balance a bit with big bunch of plants eg [green rotundifolia, anything bushy/leafy...your choice] on your right area.
you may wanna place your filter-in pipe on right side so it can be hidden by plants. leave the left side sparsely planted with bba-kidding
    , hg.
and not forgetting fg moss as you planned.

notice pebbles are very big. you will encounter problems planting.[damages roots]

    looks like a potential winner.

ignore everything everybody say[incl me] if you already very happy. no right or wrong here, just [i did it my way], it's original, common sense, feng shui bla bla bla....

    have fun in other words.

look really great! I feel a bit of foreground plants would enhance the look and add a bit of colour to it, unless you had wanted it to be bare in your plans.

What are those strands floating in the water?

Smile Where you got those rocks?

Hi turtlehead, I like your last positioned rock formation, very natural and with plants, they'll certainly look great.
The rocks (with many holes) you use here is very interesting! What kind of rocks are these and where in LFS can get them at what price per kg?

I made a small long tank 24"(L) x 9"(H) x 9"(W) recently and thinking to use rocks instead of woods this time.

Your tank is about the same size as mine, which is 20X12X10. I live in USA so I got them here, but the rocks are from China, after doing some research. Kind of like "dragon stones".

Ok, messed with it a little.
Took out the Riccia because I thought it would contrast too much with the dark moss green. And it was growing too fast, I will try again when the moss grows a bit thicker, which is already what it has done it just a month with out co2 and ferts, amazing. Hairgrass also has many runners now, a lot of the hc as been pulled out by shrimps, so I decided it to grow it out in a tank and then put in bigger clumps of it. So this is it of now.
