More plant mass...that is not good. Do not have the concept of waiting for things to grow in.

You will need some source of PO4. LushGro Aqua does not provide that except for NO3.

ADA Aquasoil? ...then get Seachem Equilibrium and add to get the GH up again.

    Regards

Would adding more floating plants help in mass?It would block the light source though. Yes PO4 is in.

    Not ADA, but JBJ Gravel

I can see your landscaping idea.

But i think you can invest on a better and bigger looking wood to improve your design.

In addition, you should have a slightly bigger area for your stem plants.

Thanks for all your suggestions. Threw in more floating plants and increased planting for glosso. Have also down the lights to 3 x 36W for the time being.

I was trying to steal the idea from the following design by ADA

in that case you should really get more wood and slope the sand higher at that corner..

I'd plant some hairgrass at the back, behind the wood. Notice in the ADA one that Amano planted hairgrass and trimmed them such that they "fade into distance".
