    3 months still ok,
six months do this simple test...

first, buy a new one[keep as emergency spare]
use this to replace one of the old ones, [turn on and compare with the old with new]
not much diff means you can put back the old one and keep spare till next couple of months to test again.

depending on brands most need to be replaced every year.
if kiam siap or puurse tight change one at a time. good idea to do this too because light change affects algae growth if you don't up the co2 with stronger light.
