i found that there are tiny bubbles coming out from the exit of my internal reactor.....
does that means that the CO2 is not fully dissolved??
my reactor i did something to it...used to have an atomiser, but removed it cos always clogs up, think it's algae....so rite now it;s connected to my powerhead....with 1 bioball inside....
can i add filter wool into the reactor....cos that's wat pple suggest when doing DIY reactor....will it aid in the dissolving rate??

Thats O2 degassing during the photoperiod. You can try drilling a small hole about 2" from the top at the side of the reactor tube and add a air-line to it back to the intake of the powerhead for venturi action. Remove the bottom cover of the reactor as well as the bioball. Note that the powerhead intake must be in an orientation such that the excess CO2 can burp out when the reactor is off or else it will airlock.

Yes it does mean that the volume of CO2 that you are injecting is not being completely dissolved, this might be because the Bubbles Per Second [BPS] setting that you are using is beyond the absorptive limits of the water flowing through it and the internal reactors ability.Originally Posted by taz_boy
