what of pump or filter to used for plant tank???

i got it second hand.. it was only abt 2 weeks old.. anyway.. the rain bar comes with the filter and i used the sucker clips to attach the rain bar to the glass wall.. but i turn the rainbar towards the wall so as to reduce the force of the outflow...[]

As mentioned earlier to fit a rainbar to the O/H filter, well.. it's not advisable. The compartment will flood up and overflow in no time. Invest in an internal filter (e.g Eden 304) which would cost around $17 to $25.

Agree wholeheartedly. Tried it personally and gave up. No matter how many holes i drill on the rainbar, it eventually overflows. Only solution is to have the rain bar above water. But when it is above water, surface agitation results in CO2 losses.

For two feet, best to use internal filter. Anything bigger use a cannister.
