Anybody has advised how to ensure that newly bought plants are removed from snails and eggs before introducing into the tanks?

    Cheers!

Will it stains the plants after that?

I spray my plants with a moderate water jet whenever I buy them. Then I visually check for snails.

There's bound to be a couple of snails left though. Just have to live with it.

A quick soak of those infested plants (especially Vals) into diluted bleach solution should do the job. BUT, make sure you rinse it thoroughly before introducing them into your tank. You can rinse it with anti-chlorine too.

will those bleach solution use for washing clothes do?
And do you dip the entire plant into the solution or exclude the roots?
How long do you dip it?
