Hi guys.........after two wks, my two discus(med size) seems doing quite well.
have good appettie and lively...!! So far i been doing water change once a wk......feeding them pellet and frozen blood worm, day and night! be introducing beefheart to them.

So far, wat other things i have to take note, ie: someone said WC 2 times a wk....no frozen blood worm!!!! And adding air stone will help them a better growth!

Lastly, my friends gave me 6(baby discus....size of twenty cents coin).. presently i rearing them together in my 4ft tank, divded by a divider....
    can they be rear together?!?!

    hi richie,

if you want good growth rates conduct water changes as often as possible. i do 20% daily and 50 % on sat and sun. you would need to figure out the time you can afford spend for these changes without being a slave to your fish!

frozen bloodworms shouldn't be a problem. hikari brand puts it through UV to kill parasites and bacteria. sometimes freezing is not enough!

when discus have just eaten their respitory rate increases. so if you feed often you should be considerate to provided enough O2 in the tank for them.

together is not a problem with your divider and good water change. i'm only worried about the weaker of the two medium size ones.
