i recently bought another light, so now 2x36w for a 2 by 1 ft tank. is it too much? anyway i hv tentatively remove those that need high lights, e.g. erect moss. juz cant seems to grow them well.

wow 2X36W = 72... a bit high ... you got fan installed? what's your water temperature? CO2 ppm? PH & KH level?

Moss grow slow so you wont feel the different of the size in a week. I recently very busy with work may last for few month else I can drop by to see your setup.

See my setup? I dont even call my setup "aquascape" It's more abt making sure they survived.

No fan, temp hovers betw. 26 & 28 degree. CO2 i didnt measure, but seems like 3 bps. PH is abt 6.5. KH dunno. So far no casulties, only my cherry barbs will nibbles at my "mini" cherry shrimps occasionally.
